Brand new production line with a Siempelkamp continuous press for thin MDF boards, 2,5 mm and up. Production capacity of 340.000 m3/year.

Thermal Central will co-generate energy.
Berneck has installed a thermal central for the generation of heat and vapor for the MDF and sawmill production processes which will co-generate more than 50% of the energy consumption at Berneck’s main industrial unit in Araucária, PR.

Berneck begins earthwork in Curitibanos, SC.
The new industrial unit that will be constructed in Curitibanos, Santa Catarina, will have in its first stage a new MDF line, Sawmill and Co-generation energy plant with start-up planned for the second semester of 2010.
